Baxter, 2006 registration. Nearly 100% polytepalous. Garden visitors have contantly been asking when I will introduce this flower. It does not have the to full form of a plant like PANCAKE PLATYPUS or the spideryness of CAROLINA OCTOPUS so I'll call it a standard type flower. However, polytepal breeders should jump on this plant for the high percentage genes and fertility to take a new or existing breeding program forward. 5" blooms with 29" scapes. Lavender-purplish.
