Old Termite

This is simply "the brownest daylily in existence today." It is also probably the only brown colored daylily in the list of daylilies some people consider to be brown. The flower also has a very deep brown eye band and even the unopened buds are brown in color as seen in the photo above. 4 1/2" blooms sit atop 28" scapes. It is an unreduced gamette cultivar with the parentage being BLUE RIVER X MATTHEW MARTIN.
