What a pretty pink! THINGS ARE LOOKING UP is about a pink as a daylily can get, yet it is anything but garish. The rolled back pink petals darken slightly as they spread out to delicately pie crusted edges. Darker veining only enhances the over all look. The open blossom blends into a gold wash that becomes a very nice green throat. This flower is quite pod and pollen fertile and is the parent of some of Mimi’s best seedlings. It is also the pod parent of one of my nicest Unusual Forms. A special flower and a versatile parent.
