RUSTY NAIL is a variable crispate. This type of flower has the added quality of giving you a different pose with each blossom. It is quite open and displays all the best features of it’s class. The effect of this flower is a little surprising in that usually an oragnish throat does not stand out against red further out on the floral segments. In RUSTY NAIL, however, the color combination is powerful and the blossom has a very eye catching quality. I have to admit that RUSTY NAIL is a cross that Mimi made when I was away at work. Is she just lucky, or what?
