GOOD AND PLENTY
GOOD AND PLENTY, Tet. Early/Mid, 53 x 6, 4 lats. + “Y” 30 + buds. Extremely pod and pollen fertile.
(BIMINI TWIST x ONLY IN AMERICA)
How this 53” plant came out of the diminutive 28” BIMINI TWIST and 32” ONLY IN AMERICA is a more than I can figure out; but daylilies are mysterious animals.
GOOD AND PLENTY is exactly what its name implies. It’s a good tall plant with sturdy scapes that have deep 4 way branching and plenty of blossoms and a long bloom season
The persimmon/red petals have a darker eye and are lightly veined. The color is quite intense in the field, and in a clump, this plant makes quite a statement even from the back row.
The picture of GOOD AND PLENTY at clump strength was taken on June 23, so it had been blooming for some time. The individual shot was taken at the beginning of August. You can see that the plant holds its own in the North Carolina summer and has a long bloom season.
GOOD AND PLENTY is being grown by Linda Sue and Curtis Barns in Wade, North Carolina and will be shipped from there.
