WAKE UP WILLIE is another very large flower in this year’s introductions. And WILLIE will wake you up! It is large and showy and commands your attention from anywhere in the garden. The big yellow green center and the purple eye make quite a contrast. The lavender rose petals have a small purple edge and the sepals have a small cream edge. It is fertile both ways. As with most dark colored daylilies this one needs some shade. Fertile both ways.
