EARTH, WIND AND FIRE sold out
[(Indian Giver x Uniquely Different) x Yabba Dabba Doo] x Savannah Banana Split
34” tall, SEv, 7” bloom, 2 branches, 12 buds, cascading unusual form.
Sometimes I see the predominate color of this flower as lavender, but other times I see a color more akin to pink, as this picture shows. So I will call it lavender-pink. Either way, it is a beautiful and complex flower. There is a narrow rose-wine chevron eye that is pushed out onto the petals by a beautiful shaded yellow throat. Both petals and sepals curl back slightly and give emphasis to the chevron eye and throat. Petals and sepals have a small edge-line of yellow matching the throat, and are gently ruffled. This cascading Unusual Form is very consistent from bloom to bloom and the overall clump appearance has a clean and crisp look.
The 7” flowers measure a 3:1 ratio. It reblooms well for us in Zone 7A and easily sets seed. Fertile both ways, I have used it generously and have some promising seedlings coming from it.
