This seedling does everything that I can ask of a daylily. It is vigorous and multiplies well; hence it gives new-fan rebloom late in the season. The foliage is attractive, the blooms are large and the scapes are well above the foliage. And it’s real fertile! I made a lot seed on it last year, and am anxious to see what they give me.
It stands 40” tall, with three branches and 15-18 buds. The blooms are 8”-10” and are a pale pinkish yellow with a pale pink overlay on the ruffled petals and sepals and a large yellow-green throat. The edges and tips of the petals and sepals fan out into a pleasing ivory shade. The blooms exhibit both the cascade and crispate characteristics of the Unusual Form daylily, with the cascade being more predominant. . |
