CAESAR AUGUSTUS
27”, 5.75 Bloom, 3 Branches, 18-20 Buds, Semi-EV/Dorm., Tetraploid, Reblooms here.{(Adm.braid X Tet Siloam Ralph Henry) X JT Davis), X (Gillian X Sdlg) X (Border Music X Tet Purple-Eyed Magic) }
Our Premium Introduction this year, and much-awaited release is now available. CAESAR is one of those daylilies that represents a breakthrough in hybridizing. A great grower and fertile both ways here for me. Rich Indigo purple arrowhead- shaped eyezone on a pale cream background, with a wide indigo border surrounding the petals that matches the color of the eyezone. A small silvery-white picotee frames these luscious colors, and enhances the overall effect. A small deep green throat adds the final touch.
CAESAR has provided me with plenty of seeds. The foliage is a nice deep green, and although listed as an Semi-Evergreen, I suspect that it will prove to be a healthy dormant in Northern gardens.. I have had more than a hundred calls from folks that wished to be placed on a list for this daylily. But I simply cannot await another year to launch CAESAR. Please be advised- This daylily is EXTREMELY LIMITED.! My small stock will sell out within two days. Only seven fans will be held back for customers purchasing the collection.

COURTS OF VIENNA
5.75”Bloom, 26”, 3 Branches, 23-25 Buds, M., Semi-Evergreen, Tetraploid, Reblooms here. ( Francois Vaerhart X Kaskell’s “Best Edge”)
A sibling of last years CONCERT MUSIC, and a completely different visual expression. The genes from two diverse parents have given me an outstanding daylily, with a completely different look.! In an attempt to explore the now famous Best Edge influence on an eyed daylily, I selected Francois Vaerhart as a pod parent. Heavily ruffled raspberry pink edges and eyezones contribute to a heavenly color combination. There is a fine gold picotee surrounding the petal edges. A small lettuce green throat is prominent, and is complimentary to the rich colors COURTS OF VIENNA is very fertile both ways, and yields good fat seeds. Use this daylily to put the genes of Best Edge into your eyed lineage.
COURTS OF VIENNA…$100.00

MARVELOUS MADNESS
5.5” blossom, 29’scapes, 2-4 Braanches,22 Buds, Semi-Evergreen, Tetraploid, Repeats.(Matthew Kaskell sdlg. X Dakkar( X ( Reilly sdlg X Dakkar)
I absolutely love daylilies in this deep rich Bing Cherry red color. They create a wonderful foil to all the pale yellows and pinks in the garden.
MARVELOUS MADNESS was a name suggested by my wife in an effort to describe just what it is that we do. It is most apt ! don’t you think.?Picture a tallish, very well branched, deep red/lavender blossom set in a field of deep green foliage. That is the best description that I can conjure. This one repeats three times here in Florida, giving me wonderful latitudes in setting seeds. Yes, It is fertile both ways. It is also a distinctively robust increaser, going from a single fan to four or five fans in a season.! Florida sun, perhaps.? This one doesn’t fade or grow slick on a hot afternoon, another big benefit. We think that you’ll just love this MARVELLOUS MADNESS …double fans.- $100.00

A nicely ruffled pale pink, with a deep cherry-red eyezone and picotee edging, SUNDAY RIVER exemplifies the extraordinary talents of Dan Trimmer. His introductions are well-thought out, and rich in great genes.
This lovely creation is simply the personification of Dan’s breeding program, taken one more step out. I am particularly fond of this color range .It is a very well balanced plant,- one that I can be proud of. Super plant habit, marvelous branching, rapid increase and very fertile both ways.
SUNDAY RIVER has made a great many seeds here, and I strongly recommend it. You can see a great many seedlings bloom next season from SUNDAY RIVER, here in my garden. I have a strong hunch that there will be a surfeit of keepers in the offspring. I look forward to them all.!
Recommended.!

WINTER VALKYRIE
7” or more, 38” High, 4 Branches, 23 Buds, M., Diploid, Dormant, Reblooms here. ( Swiss Diplomat X Tuscawilla Snowdrift )
A tall and graceful daylily is a joy in the garden. Here is such a daylily.! It is tall at 38 inches, but that’s the kind of height that you need for the back of your display. And, VALKYRIE is fertile both ways, so it is easy to load her up with pollen, and create the next generation of crisp, graceful whites.
VALKYRIE begins in the early morning with near-white blooms that open beautifully. The initial color will be mixed with the very palest of pink, and a trace of canary yellow. As the day begins, the colors fade with the sun’s intensity to a more luminous white, with a green throat. The effect is as summery as a cloud, with many blooms open at once. This one is a rapid grower, and sure to please. Fertile both ways. A well-grown clump is something wonderful to behold, and reminiscent of a country wedding.
WINTER VALKYRIE, (Very Limited numbers available)…..Single $75.00 |
