A tall, well-budded and branched showstopper!. Pale pink-white bloom with a metallic pale blue eyezone. As the mornings turn into midday, the pale pink dissolves into a near-white base color, and the eyezone turns into an even paler blue-white metallic color. Amazing.! Wellfleet is immensely fertile for me, and sets seed even during the heat of midday. WELLFLEET has had quite a career as a pod parent here in my garden, sending up three seta of scapes during the season. A pale blue edging surrounds the petals. Ethereal.! Lovely.! Named for one of the most beautiful towns along Cape Cod Bay. ( I do remember those quaint little restaurants in the harbor).
