HAWAIIAN PASSPORT Tetraploid 23”, 5” bloom, 3 br, SE., EM, Repeats (Ed Brown X Tet Connie Burton) Two superb parents have had the desired effect in producing this wonderful daylily. HAWIIAN PASSPORT is a wonderful peachy yellow/orange, with remarkable ruffling around the petal edges. A small green throat finishes the overall look. This is a very “bright” daylily, with a glow from within. The addition of Tet Connie Burton has been marvelous here, and will be used heavily again this season. Tet Connie opens doors that I never knew existed, genetic doors that are profound. HAWIIAN PASSPORT was originally registered as”Sweet Leilani”, but our beloved Registrar told me that the name had been taken, way back in the sixties, spelled differently, so we had to change the name.
