The genes from two diverse parents have given me an outstanding daylily, with a completely different look.! In an attempt to explore the now famous Best Edge influence on an eyed daylily, I selected Francois Vaerhart as a pod parent. Heavily ruffled raspberry pink edges and eyezones contribute to a heavenly color combination. There is a fine gold picotee surrounding the petal edges. A small lettuce green throat is prominent, and is complimentary to the rich colors COURTS OF VIENNA is very fertile both ways, and yields good fat seeds. Use this daylily to put the genes of Best Edge into your eyed lineage. |
