Sensational bloom with lilac blue/lavender eyezone and edging on a clean near-white background. The petals are surrounded by a glittering golden picotee that often displays hooks and teeth. The deep lettuce green throat that holds in our hot Florida sunshine is a delightful bonus. Very pollen fertile. Pods are a little difficult, but not impossible for me here. I attribute that factor to the heat, for it blooms midseason here. COBALT INTRIGUE is one of my personal favorites, and was used heavily in pursuit of “blue”.
