Garden Of Miracles
Nettleton, MS

The Garden of Miracles, created by God's hand with little help from Craig and Debbie Patterson, is located 1/2 mile north of Nettleton, MS at 123 Patterson Drive, just off Maple Road. The garden is only 3 years old, established in 2001, featuring over 500 varieties of daylilies. Peak bloom season begins around the second week of June each year.

In 2002, a 24 x 96 greenhouse was added with over 700 container grown daylilies available and ready to bloom in late April to early May. Also available are hundreds of container grown perennials, ie. lantana, roses, angel trumpets, butterfly bush, ornamental grasses, and iris just to mention a few.

Craig has begun his hand at hybridizing and will have his first seedlings to bloom spring of 2003. He can hardly wait to see what God has in store.

Chappell Gardens

The Chappell's have been growing daylilies for seven years. They have over 800 varieties in their garden. They have large, small, spiders, doubles both old and new. The Chappells have been a Display Garden for one year.

This garden was on tour at The Regional in Birmingham, AL in 2002, at which time they won several awards.

Amy Stewart Award for the best clump of a pink daylily Ethel Barfield Smith Award for the best clump of a double daylily Miniature Award for the best clump of a small or miniature daylily and tied for the best clump of a Spider, Spider Variant or Unusual Form daylily.

Oakleaf Creek Daylily Garden
Caledonia, MS

Oakleaf Creek Daylily Garden is situated in Caledonia, MS. Spring brings daffodils and azaleas to bloom. The gardens are the work of Greg & JoAnne Burrage. Over 500 daylilies are grown here. Older and newer cultivars have a place. JoAnne loves them all.

Perennials and shade living plants are planted throughout the hilltop garden. A slowly curving creek flows through the front of the property. The gazebo and curved wooden bridge nestled along it's banks are surrounded by native Oakleaf Hydrangeas.

Jan's Iris & Daylily Garden
Hamilton, AL

My garden may be small but my welcome sign is always out. I really appreciate all daylilies - - the small to the very large. It really thrills my heart to have a friend or another daylily lover come to my garden to see my daylilies.

I hope I can always encourage or promote a love for this beautiful plant and other plants that God has so greatly put in our care.

Traveling to other hybridizer's gardens is a lot of fun and enjoyment, to learn new things and to buy some of the latest daylilies. There are many wonderful things happening in the hybridizing fields. I would encourage everyone to hybridize to produce plants that will grow in your own area.

All daylily lovers are welcome in Jan's Daylily and Iris Garden.
