Welcome to Honeybee’s Paradise Gardens where we specialize in daylilies and hostas. This is our 10th year and as always, we are looking forward to another bloom season. We are continuing to work on our hybridizing program and we are always anxious to see our new seedlings bloom. We will also be offering hostas for sale again this year. Please check back later in the growing season to see what varieties are available. Hostas are for garden pick up only. We are offering two price lists this year: the first list is varieties that are available during our open garden sales. The second list is also available for shipping and for advanced orders that can be dug before your garden arrival. We hope this is the year that you, your garden club, church group or any civic organization can come visit us. If you plan to bring a large group, please make prior arrangements so we can have adequate help available. Come see our BLOOMERS!! Peak bloom is usually the first or second week in July, depending on our weather. We plan to open the gardens for the 2009 season on Saturday, June 20. Garden hours are as follows: Monday and Tuesday 4:30—dark, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am—6pm. We also plan to be in our gardens June 29--July 18—10am-6pm. These open garden dates can change due to our work schedules or plant blooming schedule, so please before you make a trip, give us a call to make sure someone will be home. Our hours will also be included on our answering machine throughout the gardening season. We are closed on Sunday. We are a state certified and registered garden and are found free of daylily rust. For directions, see map included. We begin shipping in mid May, depending on our weather and plant size. We can ship UPS or USPS Priority Mail.
