"Crispation"
is basically the twisting turning and curling of a daylily blossom.
"Variable" means that it shows a different face every
time it blooms.
A
"Cockerel" is a blossom that has the three sepals rolled
up like quills. Think of the quills that used to be writing impliments.
Therefore, this rolling up is called "Quilling".
