TOUCH DANCING starts out the season as a dusty rose and pink bi-tone, but as time passes the colors lighten to a soft lavender with a darker “water stain” around the golden throat.

It is a sweet flower, very fertile and has been Mimi’s “mother of choice” this season. Among its virtues are the facts that Mimi loves it, it is nicely branched, nicely budded, a long bloomer and a fast increaser.

We decided on the name TOUCH DANCING because Mimi likes romantic names and its how we used to dance when we first met over 50 years ago. Others were waddling around shaking their fists at each other and calling out “Twist, twist” while we hung close together in a corner swaying back and forth.
